Disneyland prides itself on providing a magical experience for people of all ages. This week, they more than fulfilled that promise for one very lucky group of Star Wars fans, when they had a special guest make a cameo on one of their rides. The magic was captured in the video below, which we came across this at Inside the Magic, where you can see none other than Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, board the “Star Tours: The Adventure Continues” ride, the StarSpeeder 1000, with a group of surprised park-goers.
Needless to say, the riders lost their minds as soon as he hit the scene, just like we would have.

The only way that ride could have been anymore authentic was if C-3PO was also on hand telling everyone the odds of the ride breaking down.
But while that video cuts out quickly, Instagram user NerdByKnight uploaded what happened next, which involved a group selfie and Mark Hamill delivering on the number one thing any Star Wars fan would want to hear him say.
The best part of this whole thing is how after Hamill says, “May the Force be with you,” a bunch of riders respond like they’re in church with the Pope by saying, “And also with you.” Perfect.
Of course, the problem for Disney now is they’ve set the “magic” bar so high with this visit it’s going to be tough for them to live up to those expectations from here on out. It’s not like Mark Hamill can show up for every ride… but that’s okay, we’re not unreasonable. Maybe Harrison Ford is available.
