The most exciting cosplay photos showcase the hard work and details cosplayers put into their costumes and the skill of the photographer and photo editor. The photos Sheik, a.k.a. Sheik Chan Cosplay, sent me from her portfolio brought all those elements together in every shot. Sheik is a skilled cosplayer and maker and also knows how to pose to emphasize the awesomeness of her work; she looks like a queen and/or khaleesi in every picture. Case in point, her Maleficent cosplay:

Sheik has been cosplaying since 2007 and makes all her own outfits and accessories. She learned sewing basics from her mother and continues to build her skill sets with each new project. I mean, look at all the textures happening on this Game of Thrones costume:
