I don’t know why I continued to watch Chuck after the first seaosn. There was nothing remarkable about it except it’s ability to hang on just a little bit longer. But I’m glad it hung on long enough to earn an outright ending. It a shining example of how fans can keep a show on the air. It gives me hope for shows like Community and Fringe and future projects that have one foot in the grave can hold out and come to a conclusive finale. I won’t terribly miss Chuck, but I’m glad it could hold on.
Riki! I love your podcast! These are so inspiring, thank you so much for sharing these with us!
Please forgive my typos, for I am stupid.
This episode was amazing. One of my favorite comedians and some of the best advice I’ve ever heard. The part about the getting over the hump where you hoped the show would get cancelled was a revelation for me. I know Riki one of the reasons Riki made this podcast is to help people who are starting out, and she has definitely succeeded. Thank you so much.
Was this recorded months ago? Since Mulaney said he just finished his 3rd season and SNL just started back up.
Great episode, I’m a huge John Mulaney fan!
And I didn’t have any problems with it, Alex, you should probably just blame shitty work internet!
There were a couple of times when this stopped working for me – around the 14 min mark, and again around 45 min.
Anyone else have problems? Or can I just blame shitty work Internet?
I only recently discovered John so I was thrilled to see him on this week’s Making It. Can’t wait!!
Looking forward to listening
