Make Your Own GHOSTBUSTERS Slimer Jell-o

Ghostbusters comes out today and bustin’ STILL makes us feel good! So does Jell-o. So the best way to kill two ghosts with one stone is to make a jolly, jiggly Jell-o mold and serve it up for all your Ghostbusters pre-gaming needs.

Lime Jell-o gets a lift with this Slimer dessert gelatin that looks a little too real. Feel free to put hot dogs in his mouth to really bring the scene to life. You can also watch Dan Casey, Rachel Heine, and I bring this recipe to life right before your eyes on this week’s Put This In Your Mouth.

Grab your proton packs and slice up this sweet Slimer to celebrate the release of Ghostbusters!

Ghostbusters Slimer Jell-o
You’ll need:
Ghostbusters Slimer Mold
-Marshmallows
-Dried mango
-Strawberry fruit strips
-Black food gel dye

Ingredients:
-1 (3 oz) package lime Jell-o
-2 packets Knox gelatin
-1-1/2 cups boiling water
-1 cup cold water
-1/3 cup condensed milk

Prep the mold by spraying it lightly with non-stick spray. Set aside.

In a bowl stir together the lime Jell-o, Knox gelatin and boiling water. Stir until the gelatin is dissolved then stir in the cold water and condensed milk.

Pour into the prepped mold and chill 5 hours or overnight until solid.

Loosen and turn out the Jell-o onto a plate. Cut the marshmallows to form Slimer’s teeth and the fruit strip for his tongue. Cut small pieces of dried mango for his eyes, then place a dot of black food gel dye in the center for the pupil.

Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
