M. Night Shyamalan Discusses THE VISIT, Possible UNBREAKABLE Sequel

M. Night Shyamalan has been responsible for some of the best thrillers over the last two decades. From the Academy Award-nominated ghost story The Sixth Sense to the ahead-of-its-time “realistic” superhero drama Unbreakable to the Hitchcockian Signs, Shyamalan has brought chills to audiences around the world. After directing the pilot episode of the popular limited series event Wayward Pines, Shyamalan’s latest endeavor is The Visit, a found-footage creeper about a trip to grandma and grandpa’s house that isn’t about cookies and cross stitch.

The writer/ director stopped by Nerdist’s Conival during San Diego Comic-Con to discuss his new movie, his style of movie making and if, given the popularity of superhero movies, we’ll ever see a sequel to the Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson underrated comic book drama Unbreakable.
