LOST in 140 or Less

LOST co-creator Damon Lindelof summed up the show in one small tweet.  I bet people that had never seen the show and just read this are as confused as I am after watching six years of LOST diligently.

What’s to be confused about? People who keep saying they were confused by LOST need to shut the hell up. Were you counting polar bear occurrences and freeze-framing Dharma Initiative training videos instead of paying attention to the actual CHARACTERS.

Wow. That could have saved me all of that time and heartache I spent on watching the show!

I’ve always been a fan of the flick What Dreams May Come and I thought the big Lost reveal was similar to the ideas in that flick. How death isn’t just an end…you can create your own heaven and go back to revisit people or places that meant the most to you when you were alive. You can live whole lifetimes over and over again, without the knowledge that you’re actually dead and it’s not real. Lost was like a potpourri of ideas from different religions…just like What Dreams May Come.

Of course, I hope I never meet and/or converse with the creators because if they told me I was wrong…I’d spend another two months thinking about that crap.
