Listen to the 7-Minute Track From SONS OF ANARCHY’s Series Finale

** WARNING: SONS OF ANARCHY SPOILERS TO FOLLOW **

Last night, the final ride of FX’s hit motorcycle drama, Sons of Anarchy, came to a close in tear jerking fashion that saw lead character and now ex-SAMCRO President Jax Teller ride his bike into the opposing path of a semi-truck being driven by the man that got Gemma up to Oregon in the previous episode (and just so happened to be played by Shield star Michael Chiklis). During the concluding scene that featured Jax’s final moments intercut with scenes of the rest of his friends and family, a song played that really set the mood just right, and now it can be streamed online for everyone to enjoy.

“Come Join the Murder” a poignant 7-minute piece by the series’ house band is streaming over to RollingStone.com to hear their exclusive premiere of the song.

Something the FX drama always got right was music. No matter the situation, be it a gunfight, somber dialogue scene, or car chase montage, Sutter and his post-production team always knew just the right song a particular moment called for, and if sometimes that meant no music at all, that’s what they did. They let the series dictate the music, and it worked beautifully.

It’s going to take some time for us to get over the final fate of Jax Teller, even if we knew it was coming. But, we can’t say we’re disappointed by the way things turned out. Jax went out the way his father did, thus bringing to a close the journey he’s been on since J.T.’s death in ’93.
