Lindsey Stirling Stalks Herself in Her Video for “Hold My Heart”

One of the reasons that Lindsey Stirling captured our hearts is that she created her own musical niche on her way to fame. However, one downside of all the attention is the added scrutiny on day-to-day life, which Stirling explores in hilarious fashion in her brand new music video.

Earlier this week, Stirling posted a new music video for “Hold My Heart,” a song from her third studio album, Brave Enough. Stirling stars as an exaggerated version of herself, and she also appears as Phelba, Stirling’s self-professed biggest fan and the leading member of the Stirlingites. Stirling doesn’t have many acting credits to her name, but we’re starting to think that she’s got some great comedic potential. As Phelba, her facial expressions are hilarious as she attempts to discover what’s inside the box that Stirling left behind for her would-be admirers and the paparazzi.

The video also features the vocals of ZZ Ward, and it has guest appearances by Lilly Signh, Rosanna Pansino, iJustine, and Blogilates as they portray a few of Phelba’s loyal underlings in the Stirlingites. But nothing is ever quite good enough for Phelba, and she appears to alienate some of her associates with her abrasive personality. As it turns out, Phelba was overcomplicating things from the very beginning. The box wasn’t intended to be a mystery for Stirling’s fans to solve. Instead, it was just a simple message of mutual admiration.
