LEGO STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Trailer Reveals New Adventures

Happy Star Wars Day! The fifth annual May the Fourth is a day for all Star Wars fans to celebrate the franchise’s ongoing legacy. And for this year’s Star Wars Day, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens has a new trailer that shows off some the additional storylines that weren’t a part of the film!

The latest trailer features Han Solo and Chewbacca on a Rathtar Hunt with members of their crew. And if the events of The Force Awakens are any indication, that crew is going to get a lot smaller by the time that adventure is over!

Additionally, the trailer unveiled solo missions for the Crimson Corsair and Lor San Tekka. The Crimson Corsair was briefly glimpsed in Maz Kanata’s bar during The Force Awakens, and he’s apparently an adventurer/space pirate who foiled the plans of the First Order. As for Lor San Tekka, this trailer hints that he’s far more than he seemed if he can kick this much ass.

Finally, everyone’s favorite pilot Poe Dameron was shown on a mission to rescue Admiral Ackbar from the First Order. This story was alluded to in the recently released Star Wars: C-3PO one-shot, as Poe, Ackbar, and the droids find themselves in a very sticky situation.

Two of the new side stories: “Trouble over Taul”and “Ottegan Assault” weren’t shown in the trailer, but there is a bit where a First Order trooper has a close encounter with a Wampa, and it doesn’t go well for him!

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens will arrive on June 28 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, and Nintendo 3D.
