LEGENDS OF THE HIDDEN TEMPLE Releases Official Trailer at Comic-Con

Being a ’90s kid was f–king rad. We had Nintendo 64, JNCO jeans, Surge, Creepy Crawlers, and most importantly, game shows on Nickelodeon–between Double Dare, Guts, and Legends Of The Hidden Temple, it was truly an embarrassment of riches. Now, after news that we’d be getting rebooted Legends  in movie form, we finally have our very first look at the film, featuring original cast host Kirk Fogg and voice actor Dee Bradley Baker, the voice of the all knowing, talking ruin, Olmec.

After a brief introduction by the iconic Kirk Fogg, we are introduced to three siblings–Noah, Sadie, and Dudley–who get bored during a jungle tour and decide to do their own thing. Of course, this doesn’t go so well for them and they find themselves in a Jumanji-style adventure at the Steps of Knowledge and the Shrine of the Silver Monkey. With a cute nod to our collective childhoods, the children get some much-needed assistance from a green monkey, red jaguar, and silver snakes. We imagine, since this is a Nickelodeon movie for TV, that the kids don’t end up trapped in the temple forever, but we are still excited to see them try to Indiana Jones their way through all the original challenges from the show.

Legends of the Hidden Temple will splat onto TV screens in the fall of 2016. Let us know which team was your favorite in the comments below and if you are excited for this sweet dose of ’90s nostalgia.
