Taito and Valve appear to be teaming up to bring us one curious project: the upcoming Left 4 Dead: Survivors. Coming to arcades (in Japan, at least), details are pretty scarce about the project formerly known as project Z (capitalization deliberate).

Part of me is hoping that Valve and Taito (which is still in arcades in a big way) will find a way to simply replicate the console and PC L4D experience, while the other part is hoping that it’s some kind of new light game or something.
