Learn The Advantage of Being A Primate In An All New TV Spot For DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES

Back in December, we got our first look at the sequel to Fox’s surprisingly stellar reboot, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. The trailer was ominous and made promise of a complete 180 in style and substance from its predecessor. This time, the Caesar-led apes are on the winning end of war that started in the credits sequence of the previous film, and this brand new TV spot is proof of that:

Grim feel, post apocalyptic ruins; there could not have been a better place to debut this spot than during the season finale of the grimmest show on television, The Walking Dead. Hopefully this spot means there will soon be a brand new trailer from Fox that delves a bit more into the plot of the film, but until then, we’ll have to sit back and relish in the hairy goodness that is this latest collection of footage.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes hits theaters July 11th.

  1. It’s a bit weird that the apes in the film feel the need to wear warpaint, as if they don’t look badass enough.

  2. Jams says:

    We’re all primates.
    Homininae, baby. Represent.
