Latest AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Art Gets in Ward’s Head

With only two episodes to go in its freshman season, things are getting crazy on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. In the most recent episode, the rest of Team Coulson learned of Ward’s betrayal, and did everything they could to track down Skye along with the help of now Stark Industries consultant, Maria Hill. Based on promos, this week’s episode will dive deep into Ward’s past and reveal just what made him go Hydra, and with that, EW has premiered an all new piece of fan art to get us ready for Tuesday:

The artwork, as part of the “Art of Level 7” collection, comes from artist Emma Ríos.

According to EW, “‘Ragtag’ reveals the story behind the man turned Hydra, and during the course of the hour, we’ll learn exactly how Garrett first recruited him and how he was trained. And if that’s not enough, Coulson’s team will finally rendezvous with Garrett and his group of Hydra baddies. It’s all part of setting the stage for what promises to be an exciting, explosive, and huge season finale on May 13.”

We’re down to the wire on Marvel’s grand television experiment, and it really seems it’s going to be going out on one heck of a high note come May 13th.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on ABC.

    Awesome first season

  2. Scarr says:

I just marathoned Agents of Shield after not missing an episode.

I caught so many things I missed the first time. They have the whole story arc tied together like a rope bridge over the pit of despair! You never know what will unravel next, but it sure is fun to watch.

Every Tuesday it’s just another, “Oh crap, now I can’t wait for next Tuesday!

  3. Jim says:

    Awesome artwork, keep them coming!!!

I have enjoyed the heck outta this season. The character build and setup in the beginning let a lot of people fall in love with War.,His betrayal really shook them up.He looks like a solid case of Stockholm syndrome to me.Transfering his sibling dynamic onto Garrett so hi takes his ‘orders’ to kill (not abuse like his brother) from Garrett and trusts (misplaced) Garrett that it is always for the right reasons. Makes him horribly tragic to me. Fixable yes, but still tragic.(Fyi, Skye knows many of his aliases from scrubbing him, they should raid his international cache piles, 1, ruins Ward’s weekend. 2, free ‘bonus’ of supplies and goods. 3, steals another cookie outta Hydra’s stash 🙂

    I totally agree with @Jaime 🙂

I don’t think Ward will betray Team Coulson just like that, especially May and Skye…. 🙁
