Kneel Before Marvel’s AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Comic-Con Trailer

Those frakkin’ toasters are at it again! Wait a minute, wrong nefarious robots. That pernicious Pym tech is at it again! After months of patiently refreshing YouTube’s search bar, the Comic-Con Hall H announcement trailer for Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is finally available online for your intense scrutiny, deconstruction and general enjoyment.

Gaze upon the majesty of computer-generated helmets over audio clips from the first film! In all fairness, the visual of Iron Man’s helmet slowly morphing into Ultron’s head did send a quiver up my loins, but I’m also the kind of guy who wonders whether Ultron has USB 3.0 or Firewire ports. Then again, the only person who knows for sure is James Spader.

What do you think of the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer? What do you hope happens in the second film? We know that Scarlet Witch won’t be wearing her iconic costume, but little else. Let us know in the comments below or hit me up on Twitter.

I agree with the last two comments ,STOP COMPLAINING PEOPLE . Feel lucky you know the name of the movie two years in advance . In my opinion ,all this hype ,trying to please bitching fans ,is what is ruining these movies . I miss the times when we would see a preview the year the movie was coming out ,not two years before . There is no more surprises anymore . I blame the companies as much as the fans ,for over hyping movies not even in production yet . But I do agree the screaming fans at the end was really stupid ,I thought maybe it was recorded from the convention itself .

Overlord nailed it. How can you expect to see footage from the actual movie with literally nothing “in the can?” No shooting = no footage. Maybe why it was called a teaser, not a trailer. But as has been conjectured elsewhere, it seems to suggest that the origin story will be different from the comics… that Ultron will be “born” of actions by Tony Stark, not Hank Pym. Hey, people, even when we start to see footage, we know from experience that some of it may very well not make the final cut of the released movie. No reason to get your knickers in a twist over this. We’ve got a long way to go before we have some “reality” on which to comment.

  3. Overlord says:

Why are you guys bitching? First of all what do you expect? The film doesn’t even shoot till next year. We ofcourse already know that the villain is Ultron but this was the actual reveal of that knowledge. This isn’t all people waited in line for. They were treated to footage of the new Thor, Cap, and even Guardians of The Galaxy even though they were only a week into shooting. I swear people need to think before they say dumb shit.

  4. Ryan Cirelli says:

Actually those screams we all heard at the end of “Preview” were the male fans at comic con.

  5. Spencer says:

Lackluster at best-even for a teaser and not a full trailer.

  6. Matt says:

“Audio clips from the forthcoming film!”? Every single line was from the original.

  7. Welll. Considering the movie doesnt come out for another 2 years, this was kinda cool!

The sound of screaming girls at the end like its a damn One Direction concert is annoying. Screaming for Ultron? Or just screaming because that’s the thing to do nowadays at cons.

It sucks that as a teenager and young adult I always wanted to go to SDCC but could never for different reasons. Now that I can go I don’t feel the urge to.

  10. Anderson says:

Half? Were some not? No new visuals? Blah.

  11. Diguitr says:

Half of the audio clips were from the 1st movie.

  12. CJ says:

And Marvel Fans lined up, then waited hours to get into Hall H, only to glimpse barely a minute of lackluster hype? I didn’t miss shit!! (I haven’t in years, because SDCC has become a parody of itself – which is why, in my opinion, the real fun occurs outside the Convention vs indoors) ,,,,

I can’t comment, or speculate, until a real trailer appears (or the Walt Disney Co decides to offer up more details on the script, cast, etc), at this point? Its just a fucking movie title – Avengers: Age of Ultron – and that’s all ….

    1 minute and 7 seconds wasted…
