KINGSMAN Funko POPs Are Suitably Weird and Cool

Still one of the most refreshingly fun moviegoing experiences I’ve had in the last five years is Matthew Vaughn‘s Kingsman: The Secret Service, a gloriously wacky and deliriously violent take on spy movies in the James Bond vein. Did you ever think you needed to see Colin Firth in a fancy bespoke suit utterly demolishing a church full of racists in the American South? Or a woman with swords for legs flipping around and cutting people to ribbons? And let us not forget the heads of the world’s leaders exploding in vibrant slow motion to the tune of “Pomp and Circumstance.” Now you can commemorate those nutso moments with a series of Kingsman Funko POP figures.

Kingsman-Funko-Harry

With the sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, coming out this September, it seems a perfect time for Funko to put out figures from the original, and the best thing about them is that they’re just as off-center as the movie itself. First (above) we have Firth’s Harry Hart, the dashing and sartorial as hell secret agent, complete with his trademark pinstripe suit, spectacles, and of course umbrella. Is his hair immaculately coiffed? You bet your sweet bippy.

Kingsman-Funko-Eggsy

To differentiate the figures, we get the movie’s hero, Gary “Eggsy” Unwin (Taron Egerton) in his London street tough garb, holding a pistol, and featuring his pet dog, which he, of course, refused to shoot, even though it was a direct order/a test to prove loyalty and never would have resulted in a dead dog. Probably because he’s not a monster.

Kingsman-Funko-Valentine

Next, we have Samuel L. Jackson’s billionaire tech guru/criminal maniac/squeamish to violence Valentine, who might be my favorite POP of the bunch. The moment depicted is him preparing to execute Harry with his eyes tightly closed for fear of seeing anything too gruesome. And, evil bad guy or not, dude had some amazing color-coordination skills.

Kingsman-Funko-Gazelle

And finally, the aforementioned blade-legged butler, Gazelle, played by upcoming Mummy star Sofia Boutella. Naturally, she’s locked in place mid-air in a kick, because you can’t have a character that constantly in motion just standing still, eh?

Are you stoked for more Kingsman adventures? Will these weird-ass Funko POPs adorn your shelf? Let us know in the comments below!
