Itâs always a treat when the right combination of things come together. You’ve got your chocolate and peanut butter, your Riggs and Murtaugh, your your bacon and literally almost anything, even your Hall and Oates. This week, thanks to The Watercooler by Mashable we can add Avengers: Age of Ultron and kidâs voice-overs.
Dubbing dialogue performed by children, despite being a fairly common YouTube practice these days, just seems to work so well paired with the latest trailer for Joss Whedonâs next installment of The Avengers franchise. While James Spaderâs Ultron undoubtedly has the the perfect amount of calm, collected and creepy monotone evil, there is something about a semi-computerized childâs voice thatâs almost worse.
We canât help but be reminded of this weekâs Comics Relief and the mention of Skottie Youngâs Giant-Size Little Marvel: AVX #1 and how weâll soon be able to see more baby-fied Marvel goodness in their own series.
Is it too much to ask for a full kids dub of famous comic book movie lines? We want to hear a lil Bruce Banner tell someone âYou wouldnât wike me when iâm angweeâ or the best attempt a kid has Vin-Diesel-ing a line of âI… am… GWOOTâ. Sound effects and all, Mashableâs video might just overwrite the original trailer in your mind like it has in ours. We might even be hearing the the kidâs interpretations of explosion noises and all the gunfire âpew pewsâ when Age of Ultron hits theaters May 1st.
What do you think of Mashableâs lipdub trailer? What movie would you love to see in kid-dub form? Let us know in the comments.
