Kevin Smith Launches FATMAN ON BATMAN on YouTube

Fans of Kevin Smith love to see his empire grow, and now listeners of the Fatman on Batman podcast can now watch all the action or inaction rather (since it’s a podcast), on Smith’s newly launched YouTube channel.

At one time, Fatman on Batman aired live shows on the seesmod YouTube channel but now the newly revamped shows will all be visual and have a schedule of three times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. For those of us who spend hours upon hours in our cars, the audio podcast will still be continuing on smodcast.com.

In November of 2015 Marc Bernardin was officially added to the logo and Fatman on Batman now covers more than just Batman news. Topics include Marvel movie news, DC television shows, and more. Basically it’s an all encompassing news show for anything geek, from a knowledgeable fan perspective.

Marc Bernardin has been a guest on the Nerdist Comics Panel and has an outstanding resumé that includes writing comic books, television writing, and editing stints at Playboy and The Hollywood Reporter.

What’s so great about this show is watching Smith and Bernardin riff off of each other. Both have incredible knowledge of films of all genres, but especially geek films and their deep cut references are a lot of fun for other fans in the know.

In the debut episode, the self-proclaimed “Ebony & Ivory of geek talk” talk about Ryan Coogler directing Black Panther, Doctor Strange concept art, and lots and lots of Iron Fist. It’s filled with comics talk and typical Kevin Smith, NSFW banter. All in all a great start to a new show.

You can get more @ThatKevinSmith and @marcbernardin on Twitter and catch Fatman on Batman three times a week on the Kevin Smith youtube channel.
