There is lots to look forward to coming up next month on the animated Nickelodeon series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In addition to reuniting the cast of the original animated series for a special one hour episode airing on March 14, creator Kevin Eastman will also be making an appearance.

Airing on Sunday, March 2, Eastman will appear as the voice of Ice Cream Kitty in the episode titled “Of Rats and Men.” According to ToonZone.net, Ice Cream Kitty is “a stray kitten who after licking some ice cream that fell into mutagen, becomes Ice Cream Kitty, Mikey’s adopted pet and sometimes secret weapon.”

Friday, March 14 is the premiere of the special one hour episode titled “The Manhattan Project,” featuring the voice talent of Cam Clarke, Townsend Coleman, Barry Gordon, and Rob Paulsen as the Turtles. Check out the clip from “The Manhattan Project” episode below from USAToday.com:

Obviously the most difficult person to get was Rob Paulsen, Who knows how much convincing it took to get him there.

Also I can only hope it’ll be better than the last time they brought the 80’s turtles into a modern Turtles series.
