JV, TJ, ‘n’ Todd Podcasts Live at L.A. Podcast Festival in October

Two — no, wait, THREE — of the Nerdist Podcast Network’s shows are making live appearances at the LA Podcast Festival (aka Podfest), coming up October 12-14 in Santa Monica. Herewith, the details:

On Saturday, October 13th at 2:30 pm, Janet Varney will bring The JV Club to the Espada Room at the Sheraton Delfina Santa Monica Hotel. Janet’s show is sharing that room with an all-star podcast lineup that includes Superego, Risk!, and Walking the Room, on which Greg and Dave will be joined by Wil Anderson (TOFOP RIP). Meanwhile, in another room, after Chris Gore moderates a podcast marketing panel, Greg Proops’ The Smartest Man in the World and Greg Fitzsimmons’ FitzDog Radio will be appearing, and in yet another room, a panel on “Growing Your Podcast” will be followed by The Minivan Men and Comics on Comics. And the day culminates in Doug Loves Movies live at Santa Monica High School’s Barnum Hall followed by a standup special event.

Our own The Todd Glass Show will be kicking off the Espada Room festivities on Sunday, October 14th at 10:30 am, with Comedy Film Nerds and For Crying Out Loud following. In the ballroom, it’s Harmontown, Who Charted?, Girl on Guy, and Never Not Funny; a technology panel in the Cabrilla Room will be followed by Jackie Kashian’s Dork Forest, The 40 Year Old Boy, and a Risk! storytelling workshop with Kevin Allison. That’s all after the opening night on Friday, October 12th, with Sklarbro Country, Uhh Yeah Dude, and The Naughty Show.

And we’ve learned that Cashing In with TJ Miller has been added to the show; a time, room, and day haven’t yet been determined, but a full festival pass will make sure you’re covered there…. Check the website for updates.

So that’s a lot on top of our own JV Club, Todd Glass Show, and Cashing In with TJ Miller (note: we’re not producing the event itself, but we thought you’d want to check it out, considering the lineup). Wanna see it all? There are full festival passes for $99 and day passes for $25 for Friday and $49 for either Saturday or Sunday (prices don’t include fees; see the ticket page for more details). Buy ’em by clicking here and celebrate the Golden Age of Podcasting in which we reside right now.
