Justin Timberlake’s Songs for Seth Meyers Were Meant for Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, and John Oliver

♬ ♪Bring it on down to Late Night-villeeeeeee♪ ♫

Justin Timberlake penning you a personal ode is like the highest zenith you could ever reach in your life time, which is why it would be the most soul-eviscerating experience to learn that he actually wrote the song for someone else and then ham-fistedly retrofitted your name into it. Like, didn’t even try to change the words that rhymed with the other person’s name. Super sad.

In a brilliant sketch on Late Night With Seth Meyers, JT does exactly that, attempting very coyly to pass off songs about Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert, John Oliver, and even Charlie Rose, as odes to the Late Night host. I am all for the paragon of male friendship that is Timberlake-Fallon, but I would not be displeased if the former ‘Nsync member shopped his talent around all the late night talk shows.

What other theme songs would you like to see Timberlake write? Let us know in the comments.
