UPDATE, October 8:
The new Justice League trailer has arrived. It features plenty of action from all the heroes on the team but is focused on how Batman has brought them together in the wake of Superman‘s death. This is about how they unite against an invading enemy bringing something dark to our world. You can get a look at the film’s villain, Steppenwolf, in the trailer.
The Flash geeking out over the Bat-Signal is my new favorite thing.
DC’s Justice League will bring together Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg, Batman, and Aquaman on the screen on November 17. Since we’re inching closer towards the film’s release, Warner Bros. is dropping a second trailer tomorrow, Sunday, October 8. The initial trailer arrived during San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in July, so it’s time for new footage to examine and analyze. To help us get through the remaining hours until the trailer and to feed the hype machine, Warner Bros. has a teaser. So, if you’re feeling especially hungry for Justice League imagery, watch:
Wonder Woman sets the tone from the opening seconds with “On my lead.” We saw her take-charge mentality in her film over the summer, and now, she’s had years to develop her leadership skills. I hope we see her as a sort of mentor to the younger heroes on the team, Flash and Cyborg.
The oh so brief teaser also shows off some improved CGI work. While the sneak peek at SDCC wasn’t unfinished, the special effects weren’t as strong as they could have been. Here, I can definitely see a positive difference in the effects arena–particularly with Flash.
The full Justice League trailer will arrive tomorrow and will hopefully feature some new footage showcasing some of the Joss Whedon-directed reshoots.
Does this teaser make you feel more hyped for the full trailer dropping tomorrow at 9:00a.m. ET/6:00a.m. PT? Fly down to the comments and share your hype.
