JUSTICE LEAGUE Synopsis, Logo, and Batmobile Revealed

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice brought Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman together, but that was only the beginning. The DC Comics trinity will expand into a bigger group when Justice League, directed by Zack Snyder, arrives in theaters on November 17, 2017. The movie will add Aquaman, Cyborg, and The Flash to the superhero lineup, as they prepare to fight a formidable foe. Who will they be battling? The just released official synopsis from Warner Bros. and DC doesn’t give away the farm:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Based on clues from BvS, it seems as though Darkseid is coming into the picture. Nerdist recently visited the set of Justice League in London and learned about the presence of Steppenwolf (whose presence was first theorized after the release of a deleted scene from BVS and Parademons (which were clearly visible during one of Batman’s Knightmare sequences). We also saw Bruce’s visit to Barry Allen to bring him aboard the team–it didn’t take much convincing. You can read more about our visit to the set right here.

Warner Bros. has also revealed the updated Batmobile for Justice League and the film’s logo:
