In just under a week, the Jurassic Park franchise will return to theaters with funnyman-turned-leading-man, Chris Pratt, headlining the cast of Jurassic World. But first, itâs time for some Jurassic Park silliness, DUM style!
David Unger Music (DUM) is a music group out of San Franciscoâs Bar Area that creates original songs and parodies based on popular films and TV series. Then DUM uses Face Replace to put themselves into footage from the original movies or shows. DUM has previously released parody videos for Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Dumb and Dumber, and The NeverEnding Story…which has a particularly hilarious edit of Falcorâs rampage from the end of that film.
âJurassic Park is my favorite movie,â wrote David Unger on the groupâs YouTube page. âAnd now that we made this video; âit’s the most beautiful thing I ever saw!â This one was so nostalgic to us, and we hope you like it as much as we do.â
The parody song, âClever Girlâ is inspired by the famous line uttered by Robert Muldoon (Bob Peck) when he realizes that the velociraptors have tricked him and left him vulnerable to their attack.
Thereâs nothing quite as dire in the video itself, and itâs hard to keep a straight face as Unger and his group mug for the cameras in the middle of Jurassic Parkâs most iconic scenes. And thereâs also a cat-raptor (a Captor?!), because why not?!
