JURASSIC PARK Gets DUM in New Parody Music Video

In just under a week, the Jurassic Park franchise will return to theaters with funnyman-turned-leading-man, Chris Pratt, headlining the cast of Jurassic World. But first, it’s time for some Jurassic Park silliness, DUM style!

David Unger Music (DUM) is a music group out of San Francisco’s Bar Area that creates original songs and parodies based on popular films and TV series. Then DUM uses Face Replace to put themselves into footage from the original movies or shows. DUM has previously released parody videos for Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Dumb and Dumber, and The NeverEnding Story…which has a particularly hilarious edit of Falcor’s rampage from the end of that film.

“Jurassic Park is my favorite movie,” wrote David Unger on the group’s YouTube page. “And now that we made this video; ‘it’s the most beautiful thing I ever saw!’ This one was so nostalgic to us, and we hope you like it as much as we do.”

The parody song, “Clever Girl” is inspired by the famous line uttered by Robert Muldoon (Bob Peck) when he realizes that the velociraptors have tricked him and left him vulnerable to their attack.

There’s nothing quite as dire in the video itself, and it’s hard to keep a straight face as Unger and his group mug for the cameras in the middle of Jurassic Park’s most iconic scenes. And there’s also a cat-raptor (a Captor?!), because why not?!
