Exclusive: World Champion Judah Friedlander Drew a Book!

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, a Judah Friedlander (better known as The World Champion to the rest of us) embarked on a quest of literary proportions. He struck pen to paper and doodled day and night. He tinkered and toiled and renamed them Joodles (because obviously) as the world spun madly on around him. That, my dear friends, is how If The Raindrops United was born. (I mean sorta. We can only assume.)

That’s right, you guys — the comedian, sweet headgear aficionado, and artist formally known as 30 Rock‘s Frank Rossitano and current title-holder of “one of the all-time great weirdos” per glorious human Tina Fey — has written a book. And yes its title is If The Raindrops United and we here at Nerdist are delighted and enthralled to put this news out into the world for one and all to see.

We’ve even got the cover art right here right meow to bestow upon your eye globes:

FINAL JUDAH
Don’t lie/admit it: you’re already on board, right?

If not, here’s a bit of good ol’ fashioned professional description: “In this quirky, hilarious, and profound collection of drawings, Friedlander shows a new side to his ‘terrifically entertaining’ (New York Times) comedy. Whether imagining George Washington in Las Vegas, plastic surgery for imperfect triangles, or the Keystone Pipeline as a sex act, Friedlander’s ‘Joodles’ push boundaries, exploring the absurdities of American life, sex, even history and human rights.”

And we’ve even got a sneak peek at some of the drawings from inside its guts, selected by Judah himself! Pretty nifty, huh? Let us know just HOW nifty in the comments.

If the Raindrops United will be released October 20, 2015.
