Jon Rudnitsky is the Newest SNL Cast Member, Here are His Funniest Videos

A year ago, Jon Rudnitsky was a stand-up comic tweeting his sketch videos to just about every online media outlet he could think of. No foul there: most YouTubers with faith in their ideas have done the same. Soon, however, those websites will be covering his every move without any solicitation: it was announced today that Jon is the newest featured player on Saturday Night Live.

Quick resume summary: Jon is a 25-year-old comedian from New Jersey and a USC alum. He also won Laugh Factory’s college comedy competition in 2012 and was featured in the New Faces showcase at the 2014 Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal.

At the moment, there’s not much more we can say about the guy without showing you some of the work he’s done, so we’ve compiled a few of our favorite videos he has starred in and/or written. Take a gander below and let us know in the comments what you think about SNL‘s newest cast member.

Straight Outta Newport

History seems to have forgotten the monumental impact of Sugar Ray. It’s also nice to know their feud with Smash Mouth was lighthearted.

Rejected Folgers Coffee commercial

We’re thinking the ad was rejected because it actually depicts the worst possible part of waking up. Well, for one of these guys at least.

About Last Night

It can get awkward when you’re at a party, scrambling for somebody to kiss at midnight… especially when it’s a Halloween party, and you have to see the guy you kissed at work the next day.

House of Cards Junkie

Frank Underwood breaks the fourth wall, but this guy is stuck somewhere in the middle.

True Detective: The Oscars

Forgive all the rom-coms, but Matthew McConaughey was “black-out” that whole time. Jon’s worthwhile McConaughey impression should be useful next season.

#DICKPIC

When it comes to pubes, we’re all trying to achieve that Clooney stubble.

The Wine Guys

We didn’t realize wine and cheese could hate Lena Dunham or be anti-Semitic.

Fun with GPS

Customized GPS voices are fun, but not when they have the ability to put firearms in your glovebox.
