He was an actor — and the voice of Aladdin — but Scott Weinger has made an interesting transition to TV writer, and he’ll tell you all about it on the Nerdist Podcast. You’ll hear how he decided to go behind the scenes, his days as a part of Bob Saget’s drinking crew (with Chris!) way back when, and, yes, about being DJ’s boyfriend on Full House and the upcoming Netflix reunion series.

Andy Samberg is also on the Nerdist Podcast this week, his second appearance on the show. Look for him on the HBO tennis mockumentary 7 Days in Hell on July 11th, and the Lonely Island movie is well underway, too. And Brooklyn Nine-Nine, of course.

We’ll get another hostful Nerdist Podcast, because this time, they really ARE doing more of those.
