Without the Ravagers, it’s safe to say that the Guardians of the Galaxy wouldn’t have defeated Ronan the Accuser in the first movie. But in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, the Ravagers and the Guardians may once again be at odds. At Comic-Con, the Ravagers even crashed the Marvel panel in full costume. Now, director James Gunn has offered a better look at the Guardians’ ongoing frenemies.
On his Instagram account, Gunn posted a photo of the nine primary Ravagers in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, including Sean Gunn reprising his role as Kraglin, and Chris Sullivan as Taserface.
Taserface was actually one of the enemies of the first Guardians of the Galaxy team from Marvel’s future timeline. However, this incarnation of Taserface doesn’t appear to be the same character from the comics. Sullivan also posted an image of himself in costume.
VERY happy to announce my character in @Guardians. Meet TASERFACE! @Comic_Con Thanks @JamesGunn! #comiccon pic.twitter.com/ccD93aS8tM â Chris Sullivan (@SullivanTweet) July 24, 2016
Michael Rooker also showed up at Comic-Con in full makeup as Yondu, the leader of the Ravagers who may have lost control of his men in the sequel. JoBlo posted a good look at Rooker in costume on twitter, which showed off Yondu’s new fin.
