Jason from THE GOOD PLACE Watches His Jaguars Dreams Come True

Fans of NBC’s The Good Place are well aware that Jason Mendoza (Manny Jacinto) is devoted to two things above all else: the art of dance and the Jacksonville Jaguars. So when the Jaguars scored their first playoff win in over a decade on Sunday, Jacinto was there, behaving very much in character as he bounced his way around the sidelines.

After the (delightful, perfect, too pure for this world) clip made its way onto the Jaguars’ official Twitter account, Good Place fans promptly and justifiably lost their minds, with many of them proclaiming that literally all they know about professional sports is drawn directly from Jason’s love for the Jaguars.

Simultaneously, @nbcthegoodplace gave a play-by-play of the game—the Jaguars beat the Buffalo Bills 10-3 for their first playoff win since 2007—and documented Jacinto’s visit to Jacksonville’s own EverBank Field via Good Place GIFs, plus one beautiful photo of Jacinto, Joe Mande (who serves as both producer and writer on the show), and some Jaguars cheerleaders.

Just as beautiful was this entry in Jacinto’s Instagram story:

Blake Bortles indeed.

Now that one Good Place character’s dreams have come true in real life, we can only speculate about what could happen for Eleanor and the others. Might Kristen Bell cross paths with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin? Will Jameela Jamil actually go paragliding with Pippa Middleton? Or, most improbably, will a close friend of William Jackson Harper wear cowboy boots he doesn’t find visually offensive? The possibilities are endless, and we’ll be keeping a close eye on Twitter for serendipitous events such as these.

What’s your Good Place fantasy? Let us know in the comments!
