Even J.Crew is Getting in On the STAR WARS Action

With The Force Awakens happening in a month, Star Wars is popping up everywhere and it’s a beautiful thing. The galaxy far, far away has even found its way into exclusive items from the specialty fashion brand J.Crew and their children’s line, Crewcuts. Known more for bright cardigans and smart men’s attire, the small selection is well worth a second look.

There’s only one shirt available for adults—but it’s a heartfelt one. In a limited-edition collaboration with Lucasfilm, the memorable words of Han Solo from the trailer—”Chewie, we’re home—are printed on a heather gray t-shirt in black letters for men and gold letters for the women’s tee. This shirt is also available for kids with silver lettering.

Speaking of kids, the line of exclusive Star Wars shirts for the wee ones is strong. Each shirt has a little something extra just for the fun of it—like hidden glow-in-the-dark capabilities. Why can’t adult tees be this cool? Though they’re labeled as boys shirts (which: come on) rather than just kids tees, there’s no reason they can’t be unisex.

The one Star Wars long-sleeve tee labeled for girls features a metallic Artoo on the front and a pretty awesome rainbow Star Wars logo on the back. Also available is a unisex kids R2-D2 pajama set which—of course—glows in the dark. As it should.

Finally, one of the most inventive Star Wars items I’ve seen are the Chewbacca and Darth Vader duvet covers. Created by the bedding designer Snurk and sold through J.Crew, this twin-sized duvet cover and pillowcase is printed with a photo realistic wookiee or Sith Lord, depending on where your sleepy time allegiences lie. These fun bedroom accessories are sold exclusively through jcrew.com. Pro-tip: Shipping is always free on crewcuts orders.
