It’s Never Too Early to Think About STAR WARS Holiday Decor

I know it’s not even Halloween yet… but Christmas goods have hit the stores! And with very little fanfare, we might add. That’s a good thing, though, because the pre-holiday backlash has led Target to quietly release Star Wars Christmas items online.

There are a few ornaments and garlands, and a roll out of Star Wars: The Force Awakens merchandise, but the stand out are these new Star Wars knit stockings. Fashioned to look handmade and homey, these stockings are fairly large. At 20-inches, they’re fit to hold all the action figures you asked Santa to bring you.

The festive green Yoda and blue R2-D2 stockings feature the characters surrounded by knitted Rebels Starbird symbols. Meanwhile, the Vader and Stormtrooper stockings come in white and red and have little tiny TIE fighters as their decor. Adorable.

Once these are hung on the mantle with care, you may feel like your holiday decor is incomplete. That’s because you need a matching tree skirt to round it out! In addition to the knit stockings, matching tree skirts are available in Yoda, Vader and Stormtrooper. What, no Artoo? I guess these really aren’t the droids you’re looking for.

We know it’s too early to be thinking about Christmas but we suggest you jump the gun and pick up these items before the rush. They’re campy and unique and will bring just the right touch of Star Wars into your home for the holidays.

Star Wars knit stockings and tree skirts are available at Target.com. Check out all the photos in the gallery below.
