It’s Four Astronauts and a Creepy Diner in New 400 DAYS Clip (Exclusive)

Sometimes the outside world isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Sometimes you just want to hole up in a room by yourself — or with a few close pals — and ignore the rest of society. Sometimes you don’t have a choice because you’re an astronaut on a simulated mission designed to test the psychological effects of deep space travel and you’ve been hermetically sealed away from the rest of the world. That last scenario is precisely what happens in SyFy Films’ new psychological thriller 400 Days.

Starring Brandon Routh (Legends of Tomorrow), Dane Cook (Planes), Caity Lotz (Arrow), and Ben Feldman (Silicon Valley), 400 Days follows four astronauts on exactly such a mission. After being isolated for 400 consecutive days, their mental condition has begun to deteriorate, and they have lost contact with the outside world, prompting them to leave the ship and find out what happened. Unfortunately for them, it seems that the mission might not have been a simulation at all, and nothing is as it seems.

To get a taste of that sense of cognitive dissonance, we have an exclusive clip, which you can watch above, in which our four heroes encounter a preternaturally creepy man beckoning them to come in and have a bite to eat. I don’t know about you guys, but suddenly astronaut ice cream has never sounded more appealing.

400 Days is available now on VOD and hits theaters on January 15, 2016.
