When it comes to surprise box-office smash hits, there are few that can top the majesty of James Gunn’s work in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. A sprawling western set in the backdrop of a space opera, Marvel’s adaptation of their lesser known (to the average moviegoer) comic was one of the best things to come out of 2014, and since its release, the film has gained a dedicated fanbase all its own that can’t get enough of it. However, one group of parents may have just won the prize for best fans ever.
Last night, James Gunn posted to Instagram a photo that’s since disappeared, However, it still remains on his Tumblr, and it’s one you must see:
Yes, some awesome folks out there made their child a Groot swing and have instantly won the award for best parents ever. However, the Groot fun doesn’t stop there–we also found a new video to curb your talking tree cravings.
