Funko Reveals New IT Pennywise the Clown Pop! Vinyls

One of the most anticipated horror films of the year (and maybe even the decade) is the upcoming adaptation of Stephen King’s classic ’80s horror novel It from director Andrés Muschietti, which hits movie theaters this September. The trailer, which was released earlier this year, broke records for views on YouTube, a rarity for horror flicks.

The original TV adaptation of It from 1990 starring Tim Curry as the monstrous clown Pennywise scarred an entire generation, and gave many of us severe clown phobia that lasts until this very day. And now, a new interpretation of Pennywise, this time from actor Bill Skarsgård, is guaranteed to give a whole new generation similar issues when it comes to clowns.

Now our good friends at Funko are bringing the newest Pennywise to vinyl life, and making him all small and adorable like for a new line of Pop! figures, much as they have for fellow horror icons like Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Pinhead, and so many more.

This series features Pennywise holding a paper sail boat, just as he’s about to tell some poor doomed child “We all float” in that super creepy voice. There will also be a sepia chase version of Pennywise, a 1-in-6 rarity. Additionally, there will be some Pennywise exclusives coming this Summer – Walmart will have Pennywise with wig, while Hot Topic will carry an exclusive Pennywise with a red balloon. The first two figures are available now, while the exclusives will hit starting in September.

You can check out the entire It line of Funko Pop! vinyl figures down below in our gallery.
