Last year, the theatrical adaptation of It surpassed all expectations on its way to becoming the highest grossing horror film of all-time. However, the movie only told half of the story from Stephen King‘s iconic novel. The group of kids known as the Losers’ Club may have defeated Pennywise the Clown during the ’80s, but he’s returning to Derry in It Chapter Two next year (read everything we know about the sequel so far). Andy Muschietti is once again at the helm for the sequel, and he’s brought together a dream cast to portray the Losers’ Club as adults. Now, Warner Bros. has announced the start of production by releasing a picture of the cast together at a script read.

From left to right, Jessica Chastain is stepping into the role of Beverly Marsh, with James McAvoy as Bill Denbrough, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike Hanlon, Jay Ryan as Ben Hanscom, James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak, Bill Hader as Richie Tozier, and Andy Bean as Stanley Uris.
Additionally, Warner Bros. reiterated that Sophia Lillis, Jaeden Lieberher, Chosen Jacobs, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Jack Dylan Grazer, Finn Wolfhard, and Wyatt Oleff will also reprise their roles as the Losers’ Club from the first film. And of course, Bill SkarsgÃ¥rd will be back as Pennywise, as he targets the adult Losers’ Club and their loved ones.
It Chapter Two will be filmed in Toronto this summer and will arrive in theaters on September 6, 2019.
