We’ve all agreed that “fetch” is never going to happen, but have we reached a consensus about the possibility of a Mean Girls musical adaptation? At last night’s SAG Awards, where Tina Fey took home the Best Actress in a Comedy Series award for 30 Rock, E! asked her about the potential project. Fey’s response should give you hope: “Maybe! We want to. I would love to. I’m trying to develop it, actually, with my husband, who does all the music for 30 Rock. And I think Paramount’s onboard, yeah.”

So, if you’ve been called “too gay to function,” asked someone why they’re white or if you’ve started eating Kalteen bars like there’s no tomorrow, then start working on your grapevines and step-ball-changes because that could be you belting “Boo, You Whore (Reprise)” on Broadway some day.
