Where is Tony Stark in SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME?

While the first Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer answered many of our burning questions about how Peter Parker would be spending his summer vacation and whether or not Jake Gyllenhaal would be thirst-quenchingly hot as Mysterio, it left us with many more questions that we never knew we’d have in the first place. For example, did the Snappening happen in this movie? How come all of these characters we know and love are seemingly alive and well after the events of Infinity War? And why has it taken us this long to see Mysterio on the big screen?

However our biggest question pertains to a character whose importance to Peter Parker and the Marvel Cinematic Universe cannot be understated: Tony Stark, a.k.a. Iron Man. Our favorite genius billionaire playboy philanthropist was nowhere to be seen in the Far From Home trailer, which left us to wonder if he was still alive and kicking in this film. Will Tony make the ultimate sacrifice in Endgame? Was he located conveniently off-camera and to be revealed at a later date? What exactly is going on between Happy Hogan and Aunt May anyway?! Join host Jessica Chobot as she tries to figure out what’s making our collective Spider-Senses tingle on today’s episode of Nerdist News Edition.

Where do you think Tony Stark is during Far From Home? What do you think will happen in Avengers: Endgame? Let us know in the comments below.

Spider-Man: Far From Home opens on July 5, 2019.
