Iron Man Scooter Is a Marvel of Custom Paint Work

Yes, Tony Stark owns a wide array of visually sick and wickedly quick modes of transportation, like his Audi R8 V10 (should that be a Tesla?) and of course his private, modified Boeing 737. But what could Iron Man use if he just wanted to go for a nice Sunday ride through a vibrant French countryside with a baguette strapped to his back instead of a jetpack?

He could use this:

What you’re looking at here (and in the image gallery below), is a custom-painted scooter created by Frank D’Armata. D’Armata, a colorist who recently worked on several Marvel titles including “Captain America: Sam Wilson” and “Inhumans: Attilan Rising,” has finally decided to sell this Iron Man-tribute scooter, and it’s a very non-billionaire-friendly $2,000.

According to Motor Scooter Guide, the vehicle under the paint—the Aprilia Atlantic 200—gets its go from a liquid-cooled, four-valve 198cc engine. And if all that doesn’t really mean anything to you, don’t worry, all you need to know is that this thing produces a breezy 20 horsepower, and a very respectable top speed of 80 mph. It also gets a whopping 55 mpg, although that number is a bit less impressive compared to other scooters.

If you do think you’re ready for this two-wheeled steal, you may want to reach out to D’Armata via Facebook for the rest of the details. Although please, if you do end up buying it, nickname the kickstand “Stand Lee” because… Marvel.

But even if you’re not thinking about buying this Iron Man-inspired scooter, let us know what you think of it in the comments below! Or even better, show us some of your own custom superhero paint jobs. We know you have talent like Tony Stark has toys.
