New IRON FIST Photos, INHUMANS Sets Showrunner, and More TV News

The Iron Fist premiere is still a few months away (it’s arriving to Netflix in March), but as they film on location, set photos are leaking. You can turn to a more official source though because Netflix has released more Iron Fist stills. They’re in today’s TV-Cap along with a new trailer for A Series of Unfortunate Events, news about a showrunner for Inhumans, and more.

Training Time. As mentioned, it’s time to take a look at more images from Netflix’s Iron Fist. These recently released shots feature Danny Rand (Finn Jones), Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson), Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick), and more. You can see a couple more photos in the gallery below.[IGN, Images: Netflix]

Final Round. HBO has announced a premiere date for the third and final season of The Leftovers. The show will return for eight more episodes in April 2017, seemingly taking over the slot where Game of Thrones would debut.

Westworld Breakdown. Still thinking about Westworld? You’re not alone. Sit down with Alicia and Jessica as they talk with cast members Ptolemy Slocum (Sylvester) and Leonardo Nam (Felix) on the ol’ Facebook about the first season. It’s cool to have an insider’s perspective.

Bar Tips. Do you like searching for the best bars when you travel? Then Travel Channel has a series for you: Booze Traveler: Best Bars. Host Jack Maxwell will lead the quest to find the top bars and drinks around the U.S. in the series that will debut in spring 2017. [Deadline]

One Show to Another. Marvel and ABC have found a showrunner for The Inhumans, and they’re going with a known resource. Scott Buck, who’s currently working as showrunner for Iron Fist, will run point on the eight episode run of The Inhumans. [The Hollywood Reporter]

No Happy Endings. Netflix isn’t holding back with their promotion of Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. In the latest trailer for the series debuting on January 13, they caution that this isn’t a happy series with a beautiful fairytale ending. But based on the trailers? I’m okay with that because it looks delightfully twisted. [Slashfilm]

Order Up! Syfy has granted Superstition a straight to series pick-up. The show from Mario Van Peebles’ MVPTV and XLrator Media is a supernatural drama centering on the owners of a funeral home just outside New Orleans. They had me at New Orleans. It’s set to debut in 2017. [Variety]

A Different Look. You never know when the heroes in Legends of Tomorrow are going to land. Their travels around time mean all sorts of opportunities for costume changes, and Nick Zano (Citizen Steel) shared an image of his character and Atom wearing full armor. Things look medieval in the picture from the upcoming episode “Camelot/3000.” [CBR]

Exciting Happenings. Tuesday night television delivered some unexpected twists. Read our recaps of Scream Queens, The Flash, and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to relive what happened.
