Interview: Simon Kinberg on X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, APOCALYPSE, FANTASTIC FOUR, DEADPOOL And More

Simon Kinberg has become the envy of geeks everywhere, as he has his fingers in some of the biggest nerd pies of all time- a producer on the X-Men film series, as well as being producer on the upcoming rebooted Fantastic Four and the upcoming Star Wars: Rebels. Recently, our own Dan Casey got the chance to interview Kinberg, primarily about his work on this past summer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past (which is available now on Digital HD and is coming to Blu-ray and DVD on October 14), but we also got the chance to ask Kinberg about the challenges of moving from a time travel epic like Days of Future Past into a giant disaster film like the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse, why they decided to release the “Rogue Cut” of Days of Future Past, the possibility of shared mini-Marvel movie-verse featuring the X-Men, the Fantastic Four and Deadpool, and what other classic X-Men storylines he’d like to explore.
