The INSIDE OUT Cast on Bing Bong Prequels, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, and More

We all fell in love with Inside Out when we saw it in theaters, right? No? Oh, so that wasn’t you ugly-crying into your popcorn that I saw? Really. Hmm…OK, whatever you say. Operating on the assumption that either you haven’t seen it or you have been waiting for the movie to be released on home video so that you might feel your feelings in the comfort and privacy of your own home, today’s the day for you. Because—wonder of wonder, miracle of miracles!—Inside Out is finally available on DVD, Blu-ray, and various video on demand services for your Carrie Mathison-esque cryfest extraordinaire.

In celebration of our new favorite Pixar FeelsFest, we shuffled on up to Pixar’s San Francisco campus to chat it up with the film’s director Pete Docter, and some of its stars—including Kyle MacLachlan, Phyllis Smith, Richard Kind, and Kaitlyn Dias. Much like the inside of Riley’s brain, our conversation ran the gamut, covering the discussion of sadness, the likelihood of a prequel with Bing Bong (BING BONG!), and how the reach of Inside Out has gone beyond straight-up entertainment and become an emotional education tool for parents and kids alike.

And we even got a bit of bonus action from Kind about his feelings on a Curb Your Enthusiasm return (because who doesn’t want that, amirite?) if you’re into that sort of thing.

Inside Out hits the DVD/Blu-ray shelves on November 3, 2015.
