Inked Wednesday #72 – Hufflepuff, THE FORCE AWAKENS Luke Skywalker, and More

Getting a tattoo is part of building one’s identity. You get art or quotes permanently added to your skin because they speak to you in some way or because they mean something to you. In the case of the Harry Potter franchise, fans connect to the Hogwarts house they think they’d be sorted into (or the house the quiz on Pottermore puts them in). You can be a Slytherin, a Ravenclaw, a Gryffindor, or a Hufflepuff. As someone who recently embraced her inner Hufflepuff-ness and is considering a tattoo, I was happy to see this Hufflepuff crest and had to feature it in this week’s Inked Wednesday.

Head to the gallery below to see more beauties. You’ll find a Game of Thrones design, a Luke Skywalker tattoo based on his look in The Force Awakens, Calvin and Hobbes, and more.

If you’re a regular reader ’round these here parts, you probably know the drill, but in case you don’t: Inked Wednesday keeps hopping because of reader submissions, and I’d love to include your geeky ink. You can get pics of your tattoos to me a few different ways. You can leave a link in the comments, tag or mention me on Instagram, or send me photos on Twitter. Please let me know the name of your tattoo artist and they shop he or she works at, if you can, and remember that the more hi-res the image, the better, but whatever you have is fine. Now, show me that ink!
