Inked Wednesday #115 – Pokémon and Other Geeky Tattoos by Emily Killvers

Some tattoo artists are responsible for doing so much geeky ink that they end up becoming the go-to person in their surrounding areas when a neighbor wants to show off their nerdy side. That’s the case with Emily “Killvers” Chilvers. She’s based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and is the girl to visit for tattoos with a pop culture angle. You’ll find a lot of Pokémon tattoos in her portfolio because she’s running a nonstop promotion for palm-sized custom Poké tattoos—she wants to ink them all.

On top of the Pokémon deal, Emily offers discounts on different subjects each month. November’s deal was centered on Studio Ghibli ink. Here’s some of her flash art:

Go chase that compulsion to catch ’em all in the gallery below. If you want to book an appointment with Emily, you can do so at her website. To keep up with all her creations and learn about her monthly deals, follow her on Facebook or Instagram.

If you have nerdy ink on your skin or you’re a tattoo artist that applies pop culture, STEM, music, or other nerd-inspired ink on a regular basis, then please hit me up because I’d like to highlight you in a future Inked Wednesday gallery. You can get in touch with me via email at [email protected]. Send me photos of the tattoos you’d like me to feature (the higher resolution, the better) and don’t forget to let me know the name of your tattoo artist if you have it, as well the name of the shop he or she works out of. If you are the tattoo artist, give me links to your portfolios and/or Instagram accounts so I can share them with our readers.
