Thanks to the wonder of the Internet and sites like Deviantart, we have long since known that if a cartoon exists, someone has turned it into a sexy fetish thing. And yet it still surprises us when a brand like Pokemon officially endorses that line of thinking, sometimes.

Note the disclaimer that indicates the picture is a bit of a cruel tease for any ladies who genuinely want multiple Pikachus all over their private areas. The actual collection appears in the larger, featured image above, and, the naughtiest it gets is the lacy panties, but still–“lacy” and “yummy” are not words one generally uses to describe Pokemon. Also available: a hooded towel, a sleep-mask that makes you look like Pikachu (all the more appealing if you have a bed-mate who fantasizes about making out with yellow electric critters, we presume), shorts, a tank top, and a laundry pouch. Because nothing says sexy like, “Hey girl, I’mma wash your clothes so you have one less household chore to do.” (Trust me: when you’re married, that goes over like gangbusters…as long as you fold the clothes and put them away too.)

Per Polygon, “The pieces go on sale at 10 a.m. local time next Wednesday. They’re Japan-only for now, so dedicated fans of Pokémon and frilly things should plan accordingly.”

This is where I’d make some kind of joke about Pokeballs, and assume that my editor would smack it down instantly for being too gross. [Editor’s Note: Not without laughing first.] So just imagine I told an off-color joke here, and it’s probably funnier than what I’d have actually said anyhow. Just tell me this in comments below: would you want your significant other to don this apparel? Are you planning on slipping into it? Or is there a character more suitable than Pikachu who needs lingerie love? We’re all ears.
