Enjoy Watching a Hydraulic Press Squish Crayons into Satisfying Shapes

Before the Hydraulic Press Channel on YouTube came into our lives we had no idea how much joy a simple industrial machine could bring us, and we definitely had no idea how versatile it can be. But of all the great videos of needless destruction we have relished, this latest one might be the most satisfying yet. Because with a new attachment full of holes a hydraulic press can turn crayons, Play-Doh, paint, oobleck, cheese, slime, bars of soap, and more into beautiful, messy, living art displays.

In the two most recent videos, one of our favorite YouTubers used a Swiss cheese-inspired attachment to flatten a number of colorful and pliable objects, which resulted in a number of worm-like creations and explosive displays. Our favorite of them all might be the incredible, super long tubes that came out of flattening a bunch of label-free crayons.

Okay, maybe don’t show that to your kids. Because that video is so amazing to watch it’s all but a guarantee they’ll try to somehow replicate it at home, only they’ll end up with a bunch of crayon shards in the carpet.

Same goes for this next video, which featured gummi bears and Play-Doh getting a turn on the press.

Seriously, what was life like before this wonderful channel came into our lives? Where did we find happiness? Did we even know how to laugh? And what the hell did we use crayons for?

What other item would you love to see get pressed with this new attachment? We promise we won’t poke holes in your best ideas if you share them with us in the comments below.
