The existence of the Internet is useful for oh so many reasons. It’s changed the way we perform research, consume media, and communicate with our friends and family. Like anything in life, the Internet comes with a side of good (gifs!) and bad (trolls), and you have to push aside or slay the ugly stuff to have an enjoyable experience. We’re here to help you put a mark in the good column today because guys, Hugh Jackman lip-synced Jake’s “Bacon Pancakes” from Adventure Time. Oh yeah, it happened. Watch:
Jackman shared his enthusiastic version of the breakfast song on Instagram, and it’s so freaking endearing. Not that basically everything about Jackman isn’t already endearing. The ditty, written by Rebecca Sugar and produced by composer Tim Kiefer, first appeared in the Season 4 Adventure Time episode “Burning Low.” It’s one of a handful of songs about food in the quirky animated series and now I want to see Jackman lip sync all of them. I’d give him bonus points for performing while wearing one of his Wolverine costumes. I also really, really want bacon and/or pancakes right now. I’d also take bacon waffles.
