George R.R. Martin is skipping Comic-Con International in San Diego this year because he’s hard at work on The Winds of Winter, but that doesn’t mean he won’t have any presence at the convention. Factory Entertainment is bringing GRRM to the event in the form of an exclusive deluxe talking plush. Yep. That means you can have the author on hand to give him a hug whenever you want, and if that hug turns into a forceful squeeze… well, I can’t blame you. After the Game of Thrones Season 5 finale–which did pull from A Song of Ice and Fire for the most traumatic events–it’s understandable if you have pent up feelings you need to release.

Though Factory Entertainment has made a GRRM toy before, this one is more prepared for battle. He’s wearing armor and armed with a battle axe; it’s really the only way to dress when you have thousands of fans upset with you for either killing their favorite character or for not writing books quickly enough. The plush delivers 12 audio quotes recorded by GRRM himself and is limited to just 500 pieces.
