How You Can Make a New ROCKY HORROR Free-to-Play Tablet Game Even Better!

It’s not that there hasn’t been a Rocky Horror video game before. It’s that there hasn’t been one that really incorporates the dance, music, and audience participation integral to the show as part of the gameplay itself. Well, there’s no need to stay stuck in that particular Time Warp: with the input of Richard O’Brien and games industry veterans Ella Romanos and Oscar Clark, a new one is coming, and this particular cell-phone extra-feature pixel show goes by the name (of course) of The Rocky Horror Show: Touch Me.

While the Kickstarter is fully funded for the basic game, there’s still time (until tomorrow night!) to chip in and unlock extra features, like a karaoke mode featuring Eddie. But if you’d rather “be it” than just dreaming it, you can go whole hog and chip in $5,000 to become an actual character in the game. Other rewards include limited-edition figurines with your name printed on them, photo prints from Mick Rock’s original 1975 collection from the set of the movie, an exclusive e-book, “chocky horror” candy bars, “Hot Patootie” oven mitts, “Don’t Dream It, Clean It” tea towels, and much more. If you’ve read this far, odds are you’ll want this stuff anyway, so why not support a game that lets you put your grubby hands all over Brad and Janet at the same time?

Allow Oscar and Ella to tell you a bit more…

Best of all, the game will be free to play, though of course there will be unlockable items for purchase and achievement. So you can play it just like any old Riff Raff, or you can really, really love that rock and roll.

Are you getting as Magenta in the face with antici………..pation as we are? Warp down to comments and call out your thoughts.
