How STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Should Have Ended as Told by LEGOs

Once the initial rush of seeing a new Star Wars film wore off, fans had all sorts of ideas about how the film should have ended. The fine people over at How It Should Have Ended had an idea about what happened in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and has presented it to us via LEGOs. Were you upset that Kylo Ren, that mumble mumble killer didn’t get his, so to speak, at the end of the film? Yeah, they were too. HISHE teamed up with the LEGO stop-motion artists at the Brotherhood Workshop to create this video for the 2016 Video Game Awards at SXSW.

In the video, all of our Star Wars friends including Poe Dameron, Princess Leia, Finn, C3P-0, R2-D2, BB-8 and Admiral Ackbar are sitting around the battle bowl (well, that’s what it looks like), talking about how great everything worked out. Finn, however, speculates what would have happened if Kylo Ren had found Luke Skywalker. Would he call on his grandpappy Darth Vader for help? Would the redeemed Vader go back to his evil ways to help his emo grandson? Will Admiral Ackbar have reason to yell, “It’s a trap?” Check out the video to find out!

The guys over at HISHE actually did an earlier version of how the film should have ended that is definitely worth watching as well. We’ve included it for you below. Head over to their YouTube channel to check out their Deadpool video as well. It’s pretty funny. Watch the LEGO video and let us know what you think by tweeting me/us @JennaBusch/@Nerdist. How awesome was the end of this? “Say Uncle!”
