We’ve been doing our best to slake your thirst for all things Sleepy Hollow with things like SleepyCast: The Official Sleepy Hollow Podcast in advance of the FOX series’ second season premiere on September 22, but we understand that you’re insatiable when it comes to this stuff. Fortunately, BOOM! Studios is stepping up to the plate with a newly announced Sleepy Hollow four-issue comic series from writer Marguerite Bennett (Batman: Joker’s Daughter) and artist Jorge Coelho (Polarity) that will tell new, original stories set within the Sleepy-verse. Each issue will will also feature a back-up story written by Noelle Stevenson (Lumberjanes) too. The comic hits store shelves on October 15th, but we have a sneak peek at the first issue’s covers, featuring art by Phil Noto and Jorge Coelho.

After dying on the battlefield during the Revolutionary War, Ichabod Crane awakes in present-day Sleepy Hollow, New York. His resurrection is tied to the reappearance of the Headless Horseman, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Realizing it is his mission to help stop the end of the world, Ichabod teams with the SHPDâs Lt. Abbie Mills to meet each evil threat head-on. When minor miracles start to sweep the town, theyâre glad something good seems to be happening for once. No decapitations, no headless horseman, no worries, right? But as one by one the miracles start to backfire, more and more violently, Abbie and Ichabod must find time between saving the world to save the citizens of Sleepy Hollowâ¦
